“Spacious and comfortable with everything you would need. Great views, quiet, clean and tidy, top class fittings and furniture. This is an excellent cottage with a lot of added benefits - owners live nearby and they are happy to chat. There's a visiting dog that just wants a scratch and is totally friendly and actually is a laugh a minute with his attempts to get said scratch. There are Moreporks calling at night and at any time a Weka could appear stalking through the very nice gardens. Because its down a longish drive it's very peaceful and quiet. To be honest it is one of the best places we have ever stayed at - anywhere!”

"Just about faultless"
“We had three nights here and I wish it had been double that. There are two large bedrooms upstairs, a decent sized bathroom and a large lounge area open plan to the kitchen. There is also a lovely garden. There is only one cottage - the owners live next door and were friendly and helpful. It is off the beaten track, quiet and the night time star vista was fantastic. The town Opotiki is a short drive away. Apart from not having enough TV channels to get the cricket - this was just about faultless”.
